FORMAT

Two day festival with middle school jazz bands competing on Friday and high school jazz bands competing on Saturday.

Prelims and Finals rounds
-
Traditional big band setting including saxophones, trumpets, trombones, and a rhythm section. Extensions to the traditional setting are often seen (clarinets, flutes, vocalists, string players)

Top 3 placing bands in each division receive placement trophies for prelims placement.

High score from each high school division and next 5 highest scores from preliminary round will be invited to perform in finals

Top 5 middle school scores from preliminary round will be invited to perform in finals
